Patrick Noonan Obituary

Quincy Patrick J . Noonan, Jr. of Wollaston passed away at Quincy Medical Center on July 5, 2008 at age 85. Born in Roxbury, he was raised and educated in Quincy, where he lived most of his life. A retired salesman, he worked at Sears in Quincy and later at Jordan Marsh. During WWII, he served in the Army as a Master Sergeant for the 733rd Artillery Battalion in Europe and Africa. The beloved husband of Helen R. (Frazier) Noonan, Pat is the beloved father of Patrick J. Noonan, III and his wife Corinne Maioli of Easton, Patricia Napier and her husband Edward of Hamlet, NC, Kathleen Noonan of Quincy and the late Robert Noonan. He is the brother of the late Paul Noonan and Nora Thompson and is lovingly survived by his grandchildren, Robert Wheeler, Jr. and his wife Lisa, Kimberly Mills and her husband Wayne, Allison Smith and her husband Jimmy, Meredith, Liam, Robert and Megan Noonan and Kelly Rivard , as well as his great-grandchildren Taylor and Haley Wheeler and Taylor Smith. Visiting hours and Funeral service were held at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm St. Quincy Center on Tuesday, July 8 and were private. Burial with Military Honors was in Pine Hill Cemetery.
