It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
A part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.
A million times we'll miss you,
A million times we'll cry,
If love could have saved you,
You never would have died.
Now to your grave we travel,
The flowers are placed with care,
No one knows the heartache,
As we turn and leave you there.
No farewells were spoken,
No time to say good-bye,
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.
If tears could build a stairway,
And heartaches make a lane,
We'd walk the path to heaven,
And bring you back again.
We will always miss you Daddy!
Forever and Always,

So sorry to hear of the loss of your son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, our childhood classmate, neighbor and friend. Steve had many roles in this life and he will always be loved, never forgotten and dearly missed. The family is in our thoughts and prayers, especially at this time of sorrow.

At a time where I find myself with a loss for words, I offer this, in an attempt to capture my thoughts:
Stephen will forever live in our hearts
Like him, strong and stoic, they can remind us that spiritually, he is not apart.
May fond memories lessen your grief,
& provide you with some comfort & peace.
I know Stephen loved & cared deeply for his family & friends.
I believe he would take comfort if those he loved choose to remember the joyful times shared together...
God Bless,
DC
