Mildred Burke Obituary

Quincy Mildred D. Burke, in Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, July 12th, beloved daughter of the late Thomas H. and Mary E. (Degan). Loving sister of Ret. Edmund T. Burke B.F.D. and his wife Eileen F. Burke of Braintree and the late Mary T. Burke and Bernice R. Bernasconi. Survived by many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy, Wednesday morning July 16th at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Retired Supervisor for Filenes for over 44 years. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Interment in New Calvary Cemetery, Roslindale. For directions and guestbook, www.jmurphyfh.com. Funeral Home handicapped accessible with ample parking.

Gramps and Nana,
My prayers are with your family. May God bless you with memories of Millie and grant you peace in your heart, knowing that she is in His loving arms at rest.

Aunt Millie, I know Grampy is a worrier, and I think now he can be more at peace knowing you are finally at peace. You lived a long and happy life and now you can watch over Nana and Grampy like they watched over you. God Bless and Rest in Peace.
