Dear Aunt Helen, Joyce, Larry,
Stevie, Danny and Joanne,

I am so sorry to hear your sad news.
Although my dad told me that Uncle
Vinny's health was failing, I could
only picture him healthy, smiling, handsome, cracking a joke...

At first I thought I could book a quick flight to join you on tuesday
morning, but was unable to come.
I wish I could have been with you,
and my thoughts were certainly there.
Please let's stay in touch, and if any
of you are near Maine....or even on
the east coast, I would love to try to
get together.
All my best wishes and love at this
sad time.
