Mary Robbins Obituary

Halifax Mary Polly (Mason) Robbins, of Halifax, formerly of Pembroke, age 79, died July 12 at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Howard Robbins and Edwin Mason. Born in Weymouth, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary DeCoste. She is survived by her two children Ethel Burrill of Pembroke and Edwin Doug Mason of Randolph, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, her brother Charles DeCoste of Kingston, and her sister the late Betty Paulding. She was the owner of Nine Owl Restaurant. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and playing bingo and poker. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Hanson. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17 at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St., Pembroke Center at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Center Cemetery, Pembroke. Visiting hours on Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Pembroke Police Dept., 80 Center St., Pembroke, MA 02359 or the Pembroke Fire Dept. 172 Center St., Pembroke, MA 02359.
