Judith Lucas Obituary

Rockland Judith A. (Quill) Lucas, 65 died on July 14, 2008 at her home in Rockland surrounded by her family and cared for by the Hospice of the South Shore. Judy was born in Boston, daughter of the late Cornelius and Virginia (Cunningham) Quill and was raised and educated in Dorchester and Weymouth. She had resided in Rockland for the past 42 years. She retired in 2006 from Production One Alarm Co. in Westwood after a 27 year caree r as an office manager. Wife of the late Frederick A. Lucas, she is survived by her daughter Lyn-Ann Anderson and her husband John of Rockland. Judy was the grandmother of Lisa J. Anderson, Kerrey L. Anderson, Aime R. Anderson and Kelly M. Anderson. She was the sister of Patricia Wright of FL, Kevin Quill of Rockland, Francis Quill of N. Weymouth and the late Paul Quill. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be on Thursday July 17, 2008 from 6-8 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street, ROCKLAND. A Funeral will be held on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 9:00 AM in Holy Family Church, in Rockland. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Judi has certainly earned her wings. I'm sure all the family and friend angels, welcomed her with open arms, saying it's about time you gave in.
Her second "resurrection" is the best one. Until all her loved ones can join her in that joy, I extend them my sympathies, prayers, tears and join in the heartbreak.
I hope they have a 19th hole in Heaven!
