Braintree Mary E. (Monteforte) Serra, 86, of Braintree, died July 15, 2008 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Born in Boston, she was raised in Randolph and had lived in Braintree for the past 68 years. Beloved wife of the late Fred Serra. Loving mother of Frances C. Salvucci of Weymouth and the late Frederick F. Serra. Dear grandmother of Susan Salvucci of Weymouth and Stacy Jernegan of Hanson. Sister of Tina Coppola of Bridgewater. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St., (Rt. 37), Braintree, Friday, July 18 at 8:15 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, S. Braintree Sq. at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the Funeral Home Thursday, 5-8 PM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery.
