Carol Phillips Obituary

Pembroke Carol Ann (Surette) Phillips, of Pembroke, passed away July 17, 2008 at the age of 60. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard M. Phillips. Carol was born and raised in So. Weymouth, a daughter of the late Harold and Arline (Ward) Surette. She is survived by her daughters Dawn Cahill and her husband Mark of Pembroke, Brenda Reith and her husband Len of Bridgewater, and Jennifer Walsh and her husband Robert of Middleboro. She was the sister of Herbert Surette of Weymouth, Barbara Collins of Bath ME, and the late Harold Surette. Grandmother of Amanda, Jessica, Aiden, Curtis, Philip, Zachary, Melissa, Stephanie and Megan, great-grandmother of Connor, also survived by many nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She was also a beloved friend to Joyce Foster of Pembroke. Calling hours will be held Monday, July 21, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rte 14 Pembroke Center), Pembroke, MA. A service will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Our deepest sympathy. Carol was our first baby sitter. She certainly lived a full and productive life. We are sorry for this loss. She was a wonderful person.
