I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. "Tonie" King. She
was like a second mom for me
as I was always hanging out at
their house with Steve. I remember
her going out of her way to drive
me to high school and allowing me to avoid the
horrible bus rides! And all the sacrifices she made for us while
serving the Drum Corp. My condolences to Al, Jackie and Steve

My deepest condolences to the King family. Some of my happies memories from my youth are being a proud marching member of the Holy Familily Defenders...I vividly remember Mrs. King trudging along for sometimes 2-3 parades a day, depending on the holiday, right along next to us...always inspiring us to keep going...a great woman that will be missed by all.
