Weymouth Edward L. McGee Jr. of South Weymouth died Saturday, July 19, 2008 peacefully at his beloved summer home in Falmouth. He was 90 years of age and was raised in Houghs Neck, Quincy. He lived in South Weymouth since 1967. He graduated from Quincy High School in 1935. Ed retired in 1982 after working 43 years at the Quincy Shipyard as a supervisor in the design, planning, material and maintenance departments. Beloved husband of Rita L. (Pompeo) McGee. Devoted father of Martha L. Sgroi and her husband Paul of South Weymouth and Edward L. McGee III and his wife Sally of Sandwich. Loving grandfather of Erica Milligan and Leanne Sgroi both of South Weymouth and Edward L. McGee IV of Sandwich. Great grandfather of Ava Leanna Milligan. Brother of Richard McGee of CA., Kenneth McGee of FL. and the late Betty Molloy, Robert McGee and Phillip McGee. Funeral from the SOUTH WEYMOUTH McDonald Funeral Home at 809 Main St. (Rte 18 opposite South Shore Hospital) Wednesday at 8:00 A.M.
