Joanna Cox Obituary

Milton Joanna Theresa (Toth) Cox, 88, of West Falmouth, formerly of Milton, died at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on July 20, 2008. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Cox joined the US Army Air Corps after completing business school. She served overseas in England and achieved the rank of Sergeant. She also met and married her husband, David F. Cox, during that time. A homemaker, Mrs. Cox devoted her time to raising her nine children. In the 1970s Mrs. and Mrs. Cox established Termco, a manufacturing distributorship which is still operated by their family today. In her spare time, Mrs. Cox enjoyed gardening. Beloved wife of the late David Francis Cox. Mother of David M. Cox of Honolulu, HI, Paul V. Cox of Quincy, Barbara J. Hussey of North Falmouth, Jeanne M. Cox of Braintree, Christine A. Mullaney of Braintree, Robert B. Cox of Mont Vernon, NH, Regina M. DeSouza of Little Compton, RI, Patricia D. Cox of Pembroke and Carol L. Cox of Weare, NH. Sister of George Toth and Ann Miter, both of Florida and the late Marge Kernisky and Lucy Toth. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Agatha Church, Milton on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday, 8:45-10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Milton Cemetery.
