Robert Ford Obituary

Brockton Robert Ford, age 66 years, died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood after a short illness. He was the husband of Patricia J. (Smith) Ford. Born Tuesday, August 26, 1941 in Brockton, he was a son of Thomas and Joanne (Healy) Ford. He was a 1960 graduate of Brockton High School, and resided in Brockton. He was a contractor and carpenter, and enjoyed woodworking, the outdoors, and collecting antiques. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Michael Ford and his wife Gina of East Bridgewater; Christopher Ford of Brighton and Jonah Ford of Brockton; his brother John Ford and his wife Ann of East Bridgewater; and a granddaughter Lily Ford. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23 from 4-8 p.m. at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton, MA. Funeral services will be private. Interment will follow at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. For additional information or to send a condolence please visit www.d-mfh.com.
