Jean McClure Obituary

Duxbury Jean M. (Wilkiates) McClure, 89 of Duxbury formerly of Rockland died on July 22, 2008 at the Bay Path at Duxbury Nursing Facility. She was born raised and educated in Nashua, NH and had been a longtime Rockland resident. Mrs. McClure had been employed for several years as a Nurses Aide at the former Golden Days Rest Home in Rockland. Wife of the late John V. McClure, she is survived by her children, Frederick McClure of NH, Elizabeth St. Jean of Wareham, Kevin McClure of E. Bridgewater and Cheryl Russell of Plymouth as well as 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Jean was the mother of the late Janet McClure. A Funeral Service will be held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street ROCKLAND on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery. Calling hours are on Friday from 7-9 PM. So very sorry to hear about your mother. I had intended to go the services this morning, but there was a miscommunication between me and my mother. I think about all of you quite often now - my daughter lives right around the corner from your old house in Rockland. I have great memories of sleepovers at that house and cookouts in the backyard. I wonder if your names are still on those concrete steps at the back door?
