Clara Carmichael-Pellegrini

WEST BRIDGEWATER Clara J. (Serafinelli) Carmichael-Pellegrini, Mus. Doc. Ed., formerly of Quincy, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater after a long illness. Dr. Carmichael-Pellegrini was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools. She was a graduate of Quincy High School. She also graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music and earned a Doctorate of Musical Education. She had lived in West Bridgewater for teh past two years, previously livingmost of her life in Quincy, but also several years in Milton and Canton. She was a well known piano teacher in Quincy teaching thousands of students during her sixty year career. Dr. Carmichael-Pellegrini was a member of the former L'Ecco Club of Quincy and the Neighborhood Club of Quincy. Beloved wife of the late Mario A. Pellegrini and the late Ralph C. Carmichael. Devoted sister of the late Anne R. Renzi, the late Dora F. Serafinelli and the late Guido Serafinelli. Sister-in-law of Gladys M. (Mazzola) Serafinelli of Canton. Aunt of Lana M. Wolff of Canton and the late Alba R. Ryan. Also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews. At the request of the family, Funeral Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dr. Carmichael-Pellegrini's name may be made to the New England Conservatory of Music, 290 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02115.
