Thomas Pratt Obituary

WAREHAM Thomas F. Pratt, 74, died Sunday, July 27th at the Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Wareham. He was the husband of the late Louise M. (Martell) Pratt. Born in Weymouth, the son of the late Frank and Mae (Simmons) Pratt, he graduated from Weymouth High School. A previous resident of Brockton and Abington, he moved to Wareham 5 years ago. Mr. Pratt was a union lineman for I.B.E.W. Local 104 in Dedham. He retired in 1987. A member of the Marshfield Yacht Club, he also loved fishing, hunting and the ocean. Mr. Pratt was also a former amateur boxer and football player. He is survived by his daughter, Shari Pratt of Wareham; his son, Thomas Pratt of Sandwich; his sisters, Lena Fletcher of Harrison, ME and Christine Smith of Yorktown, NY; 4 grandsons, Brandon, Thomas, Michael and Sean and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to the Pratt/Martell Scholarship Fund, c/o Eastern Bank, P.O. Box 431, Wareham, MA 02571.
