Rosalie Hickman Obituary

Dorchester Rosalie M. ( Boyd ) Hickman of Dorchester July 30, 2008, beloved wife of the late George L. Hickman. Loving mother of Jeanne H. Hartley and her husband William of Milton, Rosemary Stevens and her husband George of Braintree and Elizabeth Hickman of Dorchester. Daughter of the late Charles M. and Elizabeth J. Boyd. Sister of the late Richard F., William E. and Joseph C. Boyd. Grandmother of Sheila B. and Kevin P. Hartley of Milton. Rosalie was a Prefect of the Ladies of Sodality at St. Ambrose Church and past president of the St. Ambrose Mothers Club. She worked as a civilian employee of the Dept. of the Navy during WWII. Rosalie was also a former employee of the Mass Co-op Bank, Fields Corner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Ambrose Church on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours in the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., MILTON on Friday 2 4, 7 9 p.m. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosalies name may be sent to St. Ambrose Church or Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, Ma. 02215. For information and directions: www.dolanfuneral.com
