Clare Hynes Obituary

Quincy Clare L. (Dunn) Hynes, died Friday, August 1st in the loving care of her husband, children and family. She was 49. She is survived by her husband Thomas, her children Sean, Micaella and Jacob, all of Quincy and her late infant daughter Molly Clare. She is survived by four sisters, Maureen Smith of Quincy, Patricia Nichol of Quincy, Lorraine Principi of Braintree and Kathleen Tracey of Quincy, five brothers, Robert of Quincy, Michael of Concord, Timothy of Scituate, James of Quincy and Daniel of Weymouth. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and numerous relatives. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Dunn. Clare was a graduate of Quincy High School and received her Bachelor's Degree at University of Mass at Boston. She was a former employee of Stop and Shop Offices and Quincy Medical Center. Clare lived a life of courage, strength and joy. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, she loved cooking for her family and she loved old, classic movies. She found enormous joy in the laughter and company of young children. Clare faced many physical challenges in her life and met them all with grace, dignity and humor. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to ATTEND THE Mass of Christian Burial from the Holy Trinity Parish in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Hough's Neck on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8 p.m. in the Lydon Chapel for Funerals, 644 Hancock Street, Quincy. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Melanoma Foundation of New Bedford, 66 Commonwealth Ave., Concord, MA 01742 or online at www.mfne.org.
