Norma Murphy Obituary

Weymouth Norma E. (Morris) Murphy, died August 4, 2008. She was 83 years old. Born in Boston, she had lived in South Boston before moving to Weymouth 54 years ago. Norma was an Army Veteran W.W.II. Late member Castle Island Assoc. Beloved wife of the late James C. Murphy. Mother of Ardeen and her husband Edward Alexander of Hanover. Sister of Ardis Lally of Wollaston. Grandmother of Jill Joy, Chris Alexander, Nicole Alexander and James Maxwell Alexander, all of Hanover. Great-grandmother of Hannah, Katie and Liam Joy. Also survived by many beloved nieces & nephews. Funeral Service in the East Weymouth McDonald Funeral Home corner of Charles & Middle Sts. Thursday at 11:00 o'clock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday. 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norma's memory may be made to the Castle Island Assoc., P.O.Box 342 S. Boston, MA, 02127. Interment Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne.
