Joseph Paradise Obituary

Quincy Joseph T. Paradise, age 76, died suddenly, Saturday, August 2, 2008 at his home. Mr. Paradise was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools. He was a lifelong Quincy resident. He was a Laborer in the Department of Public Works in the City of Quincy for over forty years. He retired in 1996. Mr. Paradise was a member of the Retired City Employees Association. Beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. and Esther C. (Johnson) Paradise. Devoted brother of Jean Paradise of Holbrook, Esther C. Darrow of Quincy, and Carolyn B. Corey of Arizona. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Friday, August 8th at 9:15 a.m.. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, corner of Sea & Darrow Sts., Quincy at 10 oclock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours Thursday 2-4 p.m. Interment Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.

Ted was such a kind and wonderful human being. He knew more about Quincy than anyone I know. My grandkids loved him and his buddy, my dog, Rufus. He will be missed very much by all who knew him. May he rest in peace. Love ya Ted. Peace, Pat
