Hanover Michael J. Corey, died at Weymouth Health Care, August 4, 2008. He was 88 years old. Born and raised in Boston, he had lived in Hanover for the past 22 years. Beloved husband of Thomasina M. (Gosse) Corey. Father of Daniel F. Corey Sr. of Roslindale, John C. Corey of Roslindale, Sally A. Corey of West Roxbury and the late Michael J. Corey Jr. and Eileen (Corey) Ney. Step-father of John MacPherson of N. Carolina, Elizabeth Bell of Hanover, Neal MacPherson of Groton, Nancy Gay of Mashpee and Gail Petrosevich of East Bridgewater. Grandfather of Daniel F. Corey Jr., Christopher Corey, Mary Eileen Chmura, Christine Roy and William Ney. Brother of Mary Crocco of Randolph, Irene Susi of FL and the late John, Thomas, George Corey and Rose Adams. Funeral Service in the South Weymouth McDonald Funeral Home, 809 Main St. (Rte. 18 opposite South Shore Hospital), Friday at 11:00 o'clock. Relatives and friends invited.
