Kenneth Tarbox Obituary

Quincy Kenneth Paul Tarbox, suddenly on August 5, 2008. Beloved son of Alice I. (Thornley) Tarbox of Quincy and the late Charles H. Tarbox. Brother of Charles Tarbox of Braintree, Elissa McDonagh and her husband Edward of Quincy and the late James Tarbox. Uncle of Michael J., Kevin T. and Carolyn H. McDonagh all of Quincy. Ken is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Ken was a lifelong resident of Quincy. He graduated from North Quincy High School Class of 1981 and then attended Bunker Hill Community College. Ken worked for the Post Office - GMF , South Postal Annex for more than 20 years. He enjoyed traveling, history and following New England sports teams. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Monday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 3 - 7 p.m. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in memory of Ken may be made to Carmelite Sisters of the Aged and Infirm, St. Teresa's Motherhouse, 600 Woods Road, Germantown, NY 12526.
