Ruth Healy Obituary

CANTON Ruth A. Healy (OToole), age 90, of Canton, passed away at home August 7th. Born and raised in S. Boston, she attended Boston Schools and Boston Clerical School. She previously lived in Hyde Park before moving to Canton in 1955. She was a member of the Canton Catholic Womens Club and was a faithful member of St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton where she previously served on the Altar Guild. She was a devoted housewife and mother. Beloved wife of Leo A. Mother of Lyn M. Healy of Canton, Paul M. Healy of VT, Robert L. Healy of NH and the late John E. Healy. Grandmother of Micheil and Liam Boesel, Matthew Healy and the late Adam Healy. Sister of the late Winifred Sanborn, Cecelia Greene, Edna Malone and Frances Bourgeois. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St., Canton, Sunday (2-4) and (7-9). Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church, Canton, Monday morning at 10. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to "Our Neighbors in Need" c/o St. Gerard Majella Church, 1860 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021.

We loved Ruth so much, her constant kindness always seemed to amaze us and her smile brightened up every moment we were with her...
Though we didn't see eachother alot she was and will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
