Charlotte S. Desmond

Weymouth Charlotte "Tillie" Desmond, a life long resident of Weymouth, passed away at South Shore Hospital on August 7, 2008, at the age of 76. Tillie is survived by her brother Daniel Desmond of Revere, her nephew Timothy Desmond and his wife Kelly of New Orleans, LA and one great niece Macie Desmond of New Orleans, LA. She was the devoted friend of Alice Fulton of Weymouth. Charlotte was the daughter of the late John Henry and Helen "Nellie" (Caldwell) Desmond. Ms. Desmond graduated from Weymouth High School in 1949 and was a Teller for the Granite Trust Bank in Quincy and later in Weymouth for 20 years. She loved to donate to the Boys and Girls and the St. Jude Shrine. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Monday, August 11 at 11 a.m. The visiting hours will be on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Weymouth.
