James McInnis Obituary

Scituate James E. McInnis, 67 of Scituate, died Sunday, August 10, 2008 at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. The son of the late Francis and Dorothy (Egan) McInnis, he was born in Providence, RI on January 10, 1941. He was raised and educated in Scituate and was a 1958 graduate of Scituate High School, where he was a star football and baseball player. Mr. McInnis had been employed as the Maintenance Supervisor at St. Marys Parish in Scituate for over 30 years and had been the owner of Fore & Aft Cleaning Company in Scituate. He was the Founder and President of Pop Warner Football in Scituate for 17 years, was an Eagle Scout and loved golf. He is survived by his former wife, Elaine P. (McGrath) McInnis of Naples FL, 1 son, James R. McInnis of Naples FL, 2 daughters, Lisa A. Desrocher of Hanson and Donna Caspersen of Cumming, GA and 6 grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Patricia Clapp, Janet Pearson and Donna McInnis. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 9 a.m. in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery in Scituate.
