Elizabeth L. Corning

Weymouth Elizabeth L. (Brinkmann) Corning died Tuesday Aug. 12, 2008 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She was 73 years of age and was raised and educated in Boston. She lived in Milton for 23 years before moving to Weymouth in 1999. Elizabeth retired in 1997 after working 23 years as a communications operator for New England Medical Center. She was an avid Opera Fan and was a member of the New England Opera Club of MA. Beloved wife of the late Edward H. Corning. Devoted mother of Elizabeth Cantor of Avon, Pamela Coleman of Weymouth, Theodore Corning of Nashua, NH and Alexander Corning of Braintree. Sister of Ronald Brinkmann of Weymouth, Frank Brinkmann of FL, Marjorie OBrien of Weymouth and Elaine Crowe of Haverhill. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service in the SOUTH WEYMOUTH McDonald Funeral Home, at 809 Main St. (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.) Friday at 11:00 Oclock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 8:00 p.m. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery, South Weymouth.
