Dear Ellie and family,

My words seem so inadequate at a time like this. I am so truly sorry to hear of David's passing. He was such a gentleman and a wonderful friend. I have such fine memories of him. He was such a help to me at various times in my life. I know he will be missed by many.

Please know my thoughts are with you. This world has lost a very special man. Take care and God bless. Judy R.

Very rarely in our lives are we blessed to meet such a wonderful person. Everyone will miss David but we are all better for knowing him. It was truly an honor and gift that I will cherish the rest of my life.

Ellie and family:
I was deeply saddened to learn of David's passing. When I was new to Town politics, David was an inspiration to me. After I was elected, I often consulted David on issues facing the Town. His thoughts and guidance were always helpful to me.
The Town has lost a great leader and a great person. His memory will live on in my heart, and I am sure in the hearts of many. I treasure the friendship I had with David.
May God Bless David, and may God Bless all of you.
My deepest sympathy,
Rick Merritt
