Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel about Elinor's death. Elinor was like a second mother to me for several years during my childhood. I think of you all often. I hope you can take comfort in knowing Elinor is no longer suffering and is now at peace. With loving memories, -Jen

Dear Kathleen,

I’m sorry to hear of your mother’s passing.

She was a very good friend of my Mom Kathy(Meehan) Murphy.

My Mom would tell us so many funny good stories about the two of them growing up.and as well as the mischief they would get into up at Pillon Rd.

She was a good friend to her, even up to her passing 5years ago.

I did have the pleasure of meeting her a few times while my Mom was alive, especially at my Mom 50th birthday party where she brought the funniest gift for her.

Elinor was very genuine nice person.

I never forget the day of my Mother’s funeral she made it a point to come over and see me to make sure I was ok.

I remember taking her in to Boston with you to Filenes Basement to look at wedding gowns the night before the public could.

Afterwards she wanted to know if she could do something for me. I just told to keep on being a good friend to my mom and she did just do that. She would of anyway.

She was very good to her when she was sick.
In my experience I will promise you that your Mom and all the good memories of her will always live in your heart…and that will help heal this loss.

My deepest Symphony, to you and the rest of the McCluskey Family.

Kathleen and Jimmy- You're mother has been one of the special people in my life. And although I haven't seen her or spoken with her in many years, I think of her very often. I am often behind the house in the boat and picture her in her chair by the window. Your mother and father were so wonderful to me, and many of my memories as a young adult include them. I knew her world was her family- she loved well and she was very well loved. I will continue to think of her, I will remember her fondly and as a special person who unknowingly touched my life...forever. God bless you both, God bless your father-I am sending my prayers to you all.
