Hello Susan,

I just heard about your mother Rita's passing and wanted you to know we are thinking of you during this difficult time.

The death of a parent brings so many feelings, memories, and also a sober look at our own journey.

(It's hard to believe my mother's 20th anniversary Mass will be this Tuesday, Sept 9 at St. John's. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend.)

I hope you are experiencing the support of your family, friends and RCIA community.

May God's Presence bring you comfort and peace,

Joe O'Brien
