Plymouth Claire M. (Campbell) Powers, of Plymouth, formerly of Dorchester, August 18, beloved wife of the late Edward T. Powers. Loving mother of Thomas J., James M. Powers, Jeanne M. Malonson, Patricia Gill and Kathleen Murnaghan all of Plymouth. Sister of Paul Campbell of N. Carolina, Patricia Lee of VA., Jeanne McDonald of Quincy, Mary Sullivan of Plymouth and Carolyn Joyce of Quincy. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Born in Boston May 23, 1934, a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Campbell) Campbell. Educated in the South Boston Schools. Has lived in Plymouth since 1973. Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St. Plymouth on Thursday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Peters Church Plymouth at 11:00 a.m. Visiting hours on Wednesday From 4-7 p.m. only. Burial in the MA. National Cemetery Bourne. Patty and I were so sad to hear about Auntie Claire. I know that things have been tough for all of you these last few years. I know that your Mom is now at peace.

I hope that you all are doing OK and I will see you next weekend.
