I can´t believe it´s been 15 years since Dick passed. The years have not dimmed the wonderful memories we all shared, but, in fact, have made them more precious.

Dear Fran and Family,
We feel sorry for the passing of Dick, a man with whom Bill felt was one of the few he could discuss the Latin language. We treasure the memories of the times we spent with Fran and Dick at the various TA gatherings. May the good memories of those times shared with Dick help to ease your family's sorrow at this time.
Unfortunately we will be on vacation so we will not be able to attend his wake and funeral.
Our deepest sympathy,
Carol and Bill Earle

I will alway remember Dick's wry sense of humor, his warm welcome to a bunch of chatty women who were visiting Fran, and his intelligent discourse about learning and teaching. I will miss him. Love to you all.

To the best Papa in the whole wide world: We will miss you every day - hearing your stories, listening to your laugh, reading books with you, sharing your dessert, sitting on your lap, throwing the ball, and holding your hand. Thanks for everything Papa. We love you very much and we will "see you around the campus."
