Richard Taylor Obituary

Weymouth Richard J. Taylor died at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday August 23, 2008. He was 61 years of age. Born, raised and educated in Dorchester he was a 1964 graduate of Boston Technical High School. He had lived in Weymouth for 31 years. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired lineman for Verizon Telephone and was an active member of the Weymouth Elks and the Weymouth Eagles. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and the Red Sox. Beloved husband of 34 years to Christine M. (Whelan) Taylor. Devoted father of Annemarie Kulikowski married to Dave of Rockland, Rosemary Taylor of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Diana Terese Taylor of So. Boston. Loving brother of George Taylor of Woburn, Maryann Atallah of Mansfield and the late Robert Taylor. Proud grandfather of Elizabeth Taylor and Kaitlyn Rose Kulikowski. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rte. 18 opposite South Shore Hospital) Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow in the St. Francis Xavier Church at 10:00. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday evening 4:00 8:00 PM.
