Paul Curley Obituary

Scituate Paul M. Curley, of Scituate, August 24, 2008, age 77, after a lengthy illness. Husband of the late Margaret (Hegarty). Paul was born in Boston, raised in Newton and graduated from Newton High School. He served with the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War on the CGC Ritchey. He worked for the telephone company for 37 years as a central office repairman. A member of Pioneer Brothers and IBEW Club member. He enjoyed gardening and real estate. Devoted father of Paula King and her husband Robert of Scituate, Mark Curley of New York and Douglas Curley of Scituate. Twin brother of Robert Curley of Stoughton and the late Joan Curley Proctor. Loving grandfather of Matthew and Molly King. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd., Scituate on Thursday, August 28th at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, Scituate at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Scituate. Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USCG during the Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
