Mary F. Alfieri

Hanover Mrs. Mary F. (DiGiacomandrea) Alfieri, 87, of Hanover died Sunday, Aug 24 at the Brockton Hospital after a long illness. The daughter of the late Donato and Antoinette (Latannzia) DiGiacomandrea, she was born in Boston on February 5, 1921. She was raised and educated in Roxbury and has lived in Hanover for 34 years. Mrs. Alfieri enjoyed cooking and was an avid reader. Wife of the late Louis A. Alfieri Sr., she is survived by 2 sons, Richard L. Alfieri of Hanson and Louis A. Alfieri Jr. of Hanover, 2 daughters, Barbara L. Alfieri Natale of Pembroke and Sandra M. Alfieri Silva of Hanson, 1 brother Daniel DiGiacomandrea of Scituate, 1 sister Anne Chikowski of Roslindale, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grand-daughters. She was the sister of the late Hilda Tosi, Warren Mandry and Louis DiGiacomandrea. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., (Rte 139) Hanover. Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., (Rte 53) HANOVER, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
