Edward Parry Obituary

Punta Gorda, Florida Edward J. Parry, 68, formerly of South Weymouth and presently of Punta Gorda, FL, died August 19, 2008 at his residence. He was a veteran of the Navy and was a retired Lithographer for many years. He was the son of the late Walter and Philomena (DePari) Parry. In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by his son, Walter Parry of Sagamore, MA; two daughters, Debra Morse of Freeport, Maine and Christine Rogers of Florida; two brothers, William Parry of Whitman and Daniel Parry of Hingham. He was also the brother of the late Ronald Parry and the late Wayne Parry. Also survived by three grandchildren, Alanna Ventura of Whitman, Derrick and Andrea Parry and one great-grandson Travis King of Whitman. There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, August 28th at 9:00 a.m. at the Holy Ghost Church, 508 Washington St., Whitman, MA.

Mr. Parry,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during the Cold War. Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow servicemen stood ready to defend our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
