John R. Sweet

Plymouth John R. Sweet of Plymouth, formerly of Dorchester, August 25, John R. beloved husband of Frances E. (Fullam). Loving father of Thomas R. of Las Vegas, John J. of Cohasset, Kathy Powers of Michigan, Linda Eckman of Plymouth and Jeanne Lyons of Virginia, Grandfather of 10. Born in Boston, September 21, 1926, a son of the late John E. and Jeannette (Trabucco) Sweet. A graduate of Hyde Park High School. He served with the US Marine Corp. during WWII. He had worked as repairmen for Automatic Laundries in Newton. He enjoyed gardening, baseball and politics. Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, on Friday at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bonaventure Church Manomet at 11:00 am.
