Eveline E. Horan

Braintree Eveline E. (Apostol) Horan, 73 years of age, passed away at the Quincy Medical Center on Monday. She was born in Boston and graduated from Jamaica Plain High School with the Class of 1953. She subsequently graduated from Boston Clerical School and later took courses in the real estate field. She resided in Braintree for forty years and was a former resident of Brookline. Eveline was a retired real estate agent for Century 21 Real Estate in Braintree and for Caldwell Banker Real Estate at the South Shore Plaza. She was an avid Red Sox Fan and a member of the Ladies Guild at the Saint George Albanian Orthodox Cathedral in South Boston. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert P. Horan; 2 devoted daughters, Janet D. Bigelow, married to Richard Bigelow of Weymouth and Andrea L. Hartley, married to Mark Hartley of Brockton. She is the loving grandmother of Kristin Bigelow, Jason Bigelow, Brian Bigelow and Kevin Bigelow. She is the sister of Kristo Apostol of Norwell and the late Paul Apostol. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Saint George Albanian Orthodox Cathedral, East Broadway, SOUTH BOSTON, Saturday, August 30 at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Father Arthur Liolin will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting hours will be at the Mortimer N. Peck - Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, BRAINTREE, Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be sent to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Avenue, Suite 2, Norwood, MA 02062. For those who wish to attend the Funeral Liturgy at the Cathedral, they may come to the Peck Funeral Home Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and go in procession to the Cathedral.
