Dear Walter, Ted, Doug, Chet, Joe, Ginny and family,
I love and miss you all. My deepest sympathy. If there is anything I can do please call me. I would love to help.
Ginny,
She was the sunshine on a rainy day
A strong lady with a warm heart
Kept the family in order everyday
Always willing to help in any way
Whether it was a stranger on the street
Or a friend she went to meet
Never spoke unkindly of anyone
Her heart was the biggest weighing a ton
With all that kindness and love
She looks upon us from up above
Knowing we miss her everyday
She still loves us in the same way
So smile everyday
Knowing she is with us every step of our way…………………………
Smile, live for the moment just like her, knowing the love is not lost
Just carried on in a different shape whether it is the butterflies flying by or a bird on the windowsill. She is with us………………looking over us and loving us!
I love you!

Walter, Teddy, Dougie, Chetty, Joe and little Gin,
Ginny was so special to me. As a teenager, she was always there whenever I needed her—always making herself available to listen and comfort no matter how much she had going on in her own life at the time. She was my second mother and I just loved her so much. I will never forget that she took me shopping to get my prom dress for the Junior prom—it meant so much to me that she did that—that she cared enough about me to do that. Whenever I have come across my prom picture through the years, the first thought I have is Ginny and me in the dressing room deciding which dress was best.
When my family moved out of the big house on Mann Hill, I was so upset that day--I remember calling Gin hysterically crying because I didn’t like our new house and I just wanted to go home--she very lovingly calmed me down and told me that it was all going to be okay and it was.
When I found out that my son, Chris, was dyslexic, Gin met with me, looked over Chris’ testing scores and taught me how to navigate the Scituate Special Needs Dept., told me about Orton-Gillingham, advised me to take Chris to MA General. She babysat Marie for the whole day while I took him into Boston for tests. I don’t know what would have happened if I didn’t have Ginny during that whole ordeal. Chris ended up getting the special needs help that he needed because of Ginny. He is in college now. How huge is that?
All those years of being with Ginny and the boys at Minot beach and babysitting Teddy, Dougie and Chetty are very fond memories for me. I loved being part of your family. I loved you boys. Your mom was the greatest. I will miss her very much.
