JoAnn Mei Obituary

Kingston JoAnn Mei of Kingston died on Aug 27,2008 at home in Kingston at the age of 52. She was the mother of Melissa Bateman and her husband John of Kingston and Michelle Bray and her husband Michael of Wareham. Sister of Anthony, Robert, Donald, David Mei and Sharon Bessette. Grandmother of Jacob and Patrick Bateman and Alyssa Bray. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. JoAnn was born in Gardner MA and has lived in Kingston for over 30 years. She worked at the Kingston Town Hall for 10 years and the Radisson Hotel in Rockland. JoAnn enjoyed camping, biking, walks on the Plymouth waterfront but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and family. Calling Hours will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008 from 4-8pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rte 106), Kingston. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Saturday, Aug 30, 2008 at 8 a.m., followed by a Mass at St. Josephs Church in Kingston at 9 a.m. All other services will be private. You were such a huge part of our lives without realizing to what extent. You were the most caring and warm hearted person we have ever met. We can never express how grateful we are for taking such good care of Ava. Anyone who knew you even for the briefest of moments is a better person for it. We miss you and always will.
