Frank Alessandro Obituary

Quincy Frank Alessandro passed away at Quincy Medical Center on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at age 48. Born in Boston he was raised and educated in Quincy and lived here all his life and worked as a building contractor. The beloved husband of the late April (Drenal) Alessandro, Frank was the beloved son of the late Frank and Elsie (Blackstead) Alessandro, and the father of Christina Marie Alessandro of Quincy, the brother of Christine Alessandro and Marie Ricci and her husband Robert, all of Quincy and the uncle of Nichole Fitzgerald and her husband William W., Sr. of Braintree and Natasha and Nicholas Ricci of Quincy. He is also survived by his grandnephews William W. Fitzgerald, Jr. and Patrick Finbar Fitzgerald and his companion Jerilee Crosthwait of Quincy. His funeral will be from the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. (off Hancock St.) Quincy Center on Saturday, August 30 at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Donations in Frank's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02472.
