Evelyne Commoss Obituary

COHASSET Evelyne A. (Joleen) Commoss, age 91, of Cohasset, passed peacefully from this life on August 20, 2008. Evelyne was born in Chicago, IL, and was a resident of Cohasset for over 50 years. Evelyne was predeceased by her husband, Ted Commoss, her sister, Reece Joleen Pottle, and her nephew G. Michael Pottle, whom she raised. Evelyne traveled the world and had an appreciation for the arts. She had a strong spirit, a fierce independence, and a talent for listening. Evelyne lived with style and grace and was deeply admired by those who knew her. Evelyne leaves behind her grandnieces: Betsy Pottle Ewer, Michele Pottle Haire and their families, all of Palm beach Gardens, Florida. Evelyne had wonderful friends and neighbors who loved her and considered her part of the families. She will be missed by all. In respect of Evelynes wishes, all services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelynes memory may be made to the Scituate Animal Shelter, PO BOX 823, Scituate, MA. 02066.
