I am sorry to hear of Fred's death. For many years John & I did not hear from Fred & then out of the blue Fred sent a picture that he had found of John as a very young Marine. I know they spoke a few time after that but then John got sick & died & I was so glad that Fred was able to make the funeral with Mac & Bill. It reminded me of how important it is to keep in contact with others. I know that Fred has not been well so hopefully you know his suffering is over & we all have a new special angel to watch over us. He & John are most likely sharing family & Marine stories at this moment. Remember that those we keep in our hearts are never forgotten.
