PLYMOUTH Joseph F. Motta, Jr. of Plymouth, Sept. 3, 2008. Beloved husband of Sandra E. (Wood). Loving father of Richard L. Motta of Plymouth, Paula Watson and Marsha Halligan both of Plymouth and the late Joseph F. Motta Jr. Brother of Valentina Costa of Plymouth also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Born in Plymouth July 16, 1931 a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Tavares) Motta. Educated in the Plymouth schools he served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict. He worked as a laborer for local #721. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home 150 Court St. Plymouth on SAT. at 10:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in a church to be announced at 11:30 am. Visiting hours on Friday from 4-7 pm only. Burial in St. Josephs Cemetery Plymouth. Memorial donations may be made to the Cranberry Hospice 36 Cordage Park Circle Plymouth, MA. 02360.
