Dear Frances,
I just read about the loss of your Mom. I am so very sorry for you and your family. I know this comes out of the blue, but I think of you often. Especially when fall rolls around! Happy birthday, a little early, to you and me! Again I am sorry for your loss. And my thoughts are with you.

To Aunt Virginia's family, I send my deepest sympathy. I will always remember your mother's smile. I could always count on it at any family occasion. She was a gentle and beautiful woman.
