Francis Aspessi Obituary

THAILAND Francis P. Aspessi, age 53, of Bangkok, Thailand, died Saturday, August 16, 2008, suddenly, at his home. Mr. Aspessi was born in Milton, raised and educated in Dorchester schools. He graduated from Boston College High School and from Columbia University. He then graduated from University of Southern California Law School. He had lived in Thailand since 2001, previously living in California for over 25 years. He worked as an attorney in California for many years, and in Thailand he worked as an English teacher for various schools. Beloved son of Louis C. and Claire M. (Costello) Aspessi of Braintree. Devoted brother of Diane M. Healy of Weymouth, Denise C. Costa of Randolph, Michael S. Aspessi of Hanson and John C. Aspessi of Swansea. Loving uncle of Michael, Shawna, James, Bailey, Michael William, Brendan, Chelsea, Stephanie, Nicholas and Adam. A Memorial Mass will be held in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School St., Quincy, Wednesday, September 17 at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours have been omitted. Interment Braintree Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Aspessi's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210. Arrangements under the direction of the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy.
