To the Hagan Family,

My thoughts are with you. Mr. Hagan was always so nice to me and my family. I'll always have fond memories of helping him in his garden and getting paid with candy.

He was a great man.

Mr. Hagan,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Naval Construction Battalions in the Pacific during WW II. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. The men who served in the Seabees were some of the unsung heroes of WW II-they built airfield advanced bases and naval anchorages and when they had to, were ready to put down their tools and pick up weapons to fight. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
