Clare Black KINGSTON Clare F. (Walsh) Black, of Kingston, formerly of Marshfield Hills, September 16, 2008, age 83. Beloved wife of the late Hollis M. Black. Loving mother of Gerard Black and his wife Lorrie of Pittsburgh, PA, Stephen Black and his wife Elinor of Marshfield, Jeannine Kerwin and her husband Michael of Wayland, Claudia DeBruyn of Pembroke and Suzanne McLaughlin of Westborough. Devoted Nana of 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Joseph F. Walsh of Cohasset, Judith Flanagan of Needham and Martha Varrell of Ipswich. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Funeral will be from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd., Scituate on Friday, September 19th at 8:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Christines Church, Route 3A, Marshfield at 9:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Marshfield Hills Cemetery, Marshfield Hills. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Memorials in Clares name may be made to the Clift Rodgers Library, P.O. Dear Friends,

I will always remember your mom for her cooking homemade jelly.The publicity for the fashion shows when we were kids for the Christer Club. It was always fun to visit anytime at the Black home.There were many dinners there for me when Chipper was in the hospital for his diabetes.What a fun place to go.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom... Always sleeping over your house when I was a kid and listening to your mom talk. She was a hoot!
