Kenneth Lotterhand Obituary

Kenneth R. Lotterhand ROCKLAND Kenneth R. "Guido" Lotterhand, of Rockland, formerly of West Quincy, passed away at South Shore Hospital on Monday, September 15, 2008 at age 80. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Quincy, living here until moving to Leisurewoods 7 years ago. He worked for many years for the Quincy Housing Authority and was a member of the Bocce Club, Sons of Italy and the Quincy Lodge of Elks. A Korean War Army Veteran, Kenny was a member and Past Commander of the American Legion Morrisette Post 294. Son of the late Raymond and Marguerite Lotterhand, Kenny is the beloved husband of Frances T. (Bryan) Lotterhand. Loving brother of Ruth and Gilbert Kamelamela of Hawaii, Claire and Richard Foy of Weymouth and the late Richard and Robert Lotterhand and the brother-in-law of Marlene Lotterhand, Noel Constantino, Adele Bryan, Joan Willdridge and the late Albert Bryan and Helen Bryan. He is also survived by his aunt Mary Madden and many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. His funeral will be from the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm St. (off Hancock St.), Quincy Center on Friday, September 19 at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, West Quincy at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial with military honors will be at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:15 p.m. Donations in Kenny's name may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or the American Cancer Society at 30 Speen St. For online guest book, visit www.dennissweeney funeralhome.com 617-773-2728
