Please accept my deepest sympathy for the sudden loss of your beloved daughter, Heather Ann Smith. Although, I did not know her, I also suddenly lost my son, Gregory K. Porter, in an automobile accident in Hingham on Wednesday, July 23, 2008. I found assistance with The Compassionate Friends, a non denominational support group of other people who have lost a son or daughter or a brother or sister. A local chapter of this group meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the Parish House of St. Paul’s Church, 20 Fearing Rd., Hingham, MA. For more information, please feel free to call me, David J. Porter at 781-749-7530 or Richard Mirabile at 781-740-1135 so we can make arrangements for someone to meet with you prior to your 1st meeting.

You were always a little fireball. But no matter how feisty you would get, you'd always tell people that you loved them. Your laugh was infectious. We'll miss you and miss your company every day.

You didn't just live life, you attacked it. A little power house is how I will always remember you. Ever since you learned to walk, I picture you on the go. There was just so much to do. Miss you. Love you.
