Heather was born, raised and educated in Weymouth and a resident of Providence, RI for the past 2 years. Graduate of Weymouth High School class of 2001. She was a Sous Chef with McCormick & Schmidt Restaurant in the Biltmore, Providence, R.I. for the past 2 years. She enjoyed visiting Foxwoods. Loving daughter of Mary (Smith) Ahern and William Ahern of Weymouth. Devoted mother of Michael Sampson Jr. of R.I. Loving sister of Rebbeca Smith and Joshua Ahern both of Weymouth. Granddaughter of Joan Ahern of Weymouth and the late Francis Ahern and the late Robert and Mary Smith of Weymouth. Daughter of Brian Gibson of Brockton. Dear friend of Michael Cole of R.I. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Funeral Prayer Service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, NO. WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea St. (off Rt. 3-A at Bicknell Sq.) Saturday 9/20/08 at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at a later date.
