James Fay Obituary

WEYMOUTH James N. Fay age 81, died September, 16, 2008 following a long illness. Born and raised in Winthrop, he had lived in Roslindale before moving to Weymouth in 1978. Jim retired in 1991 after over 40 years as an equipment installer with the former New England Telephone. Late member I.B.E.W. Local #2222. Beloved husband of Theresa (Scrima) Fay. Father of John Fay of Medford and Suzanne F. Garwood of Arlington,VA. Brother of Mary Trant of FL, Sally Sarkisian of CA, Alice Nasife of CA and the late John Fay. Grandfather of Connor Garwood, Sloane Garwood, Nicole Fay, Kristina Fay and Shannon Fay. Great Grandfather of Sean Ott. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the South Weymouth McDonald Funeral Home, 809 Main St., (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), Saturday at 8:30 A.M followed by a Funeral Mass in the St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 10:00 O'clock. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation prior to Mass 8:30-9:30 A.M. Donations in James' memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis,TN, 38105.
