Beatrice Ledo Obituary

Beatrice R. Ledo PLYMOUTH Beatrice Rose (Andrada), age 93, a lifelong Plymouth resident passed away September 7, 2008 at Wingate at Silver Lake nursing home in Kingston, MA. She was born on February 4, 1915 in Plymouth, daughter of the late Gulhermina and John Andrada. She attended Plymouth schools and was a communicant of St. Marys Church in North Plymouth. Mrs. Ledo had worked various jobs in the Plymouth area and retired from the Ellis Curtain Factory in 1982. She and her husband enjoyed travelling and made trips to California, New York, Vermont, Portugal and Hawaii. After her husbands death she also enjoyed trips to Prince Edward Island with her family. She enjoyed craft-work, crocheting, and making tortellini. She is survived by a son, John Ledo and his wife Kathleen of Rutland, VT, and her daughter Bernadette Gayton of Yorktown Heights, NY. Also seven grandchildren, David and Beate Ledo of Neusbaum, Germany, Edward and LeAnne Ledo of Danville, VT, Michele Ledo of Raleigh, NC, Robert and Katherine Ledo of St. Paul, MN, Elizabeth and Mark Janik of Valhalla, NY, Debora Gayton of Bedford Hills, NY, and Theresa Gayton of Yorktown Hts., NY, as well as eleven great grand children and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a devoted niece, Linda Cadose of Plymouth. She was preceeded in death by her husband Eugene, her sisters Deolinda (Dolly) Cadose and Diammentina Luiz, all of Plymouth. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 20th, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Bartlett-Garrity Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Marys Church, 313 Court Street, Plymouth, on Saturday, September 20th at 10:00 a.m.
